I am definitely not a jazz player, but I always liked jazz guitars and jazz guitar players, so occasionally I buy a jazz guitar. This is a beautiful Hagstrøm full size acoustic with a minihumbucker - The acoustic sound alone is not great, but the guitar sounds sweet when played electric.

I used a Carr Rambler (Roamer) patch for the guitars and and Ampeg SVT patch for the bass.

 
I have one of their newer (and cheaper) Vikings and it sounds really, really well.
 
I think Hagstrøm makes beautiful guitars, and it is my impression that they are generally quite good value for money.
