Next stable release?

I take the view the update comes when it comes, it's not like you cant get a useable tone or 2 out of these things already now is it!?!?

If I load the Beta firmware, will I need to reload the stable release when it comes or is it effectively the same as the beta?

There's no reason whatsoever to keep a beta over a stable version, even if there are no evident changes or no changes at all.
