Newbie - Switching scenes on buttons 1-5 & up/ down change preset by 1

Hi guys,

Just got a AxeFx 2 mk2 with MFC 1010 Mk3.

I have setup 4 scenes on my main preset.
I went in on the MFC and assigned scenes 1-5 on buttons 1-5, however when I press the 1-5 buttons it changes presets not scenes.

Sorry for the newbie question. What am I missing?
Also how do I set it up so the up/ down buttons cycle to the next preset not jump?
