New YouTube channel and my first mix tutorial video!

For a while people have been asking me how I do my mixes.
In light of this I thought it would be a good and fun idea to give my studio a name and start a YouTube channel!

So my studio is now called 'Sonic Drive Studio'.
The first video shows how I used (mainly Slate Digital) plugins to mix the drums from my intro tune.
The second part which I still need to record, will focus more on the guitar and bass tones.
You can watch the video here:

I'm planning to do loads of video's about guitars, the Axe FX of course and IR's in the future.
Thanks for watching. :)

Jon

ps: Recording YT video's like that was a bit harder than I anticipated but I really enjoyed it. I do need to practice my English a bit more but I hope doing more videos will help.
Also, most of the first video was recorded at night when my daughter and girlfriend were sleeping so that's why my voice sounds a bit low and monotonous maybe .

very nice work Jon
really appreciate the content of the video.
Loocking forward for the next ones more on guitar stuff !

In case you missed it, I uploaded part 2 of the mix tutorial yesterday:

I've also been working on another new video about 8 string guitar tones with the Axe FX and Ownhammer.
I will be posting that soon too.

For those interested:

I just uploaded a new video about mixing rock drums.
This time I'm mixing the Steven Slate Drums CLA expansion.

I'll be talking about mixing the guitars in this tune tomorrow at Dutch Axe Fest :).

Enjoy!
