New Ultra -- No signal from Output 2

I'm not getting any signal from Output 2 on my new Ultra. I feel like such an idiot having to ask for help already but I've trawled the Wiki and the forum after working with this for an hour and I'm no closer to solving this.

First thing I did was raise the input and output levels on the front panel, connected to Instr (front panel) input. With the unit switched on and preset 000 queued up, I tried hooking up Output 2 (L then R) to the front of my tube head and then to my wedge monitor. Nothing. Tried swapping from front panel input to back panel input (and checked the I/O menu configuration to make sure it matches.) Nothing. I've checked in the I/O menu that Output 2 is configured Normal. It still has the stock factory settings, so what am I doing wrong? The active level meters indicate that there is a healthy signal going in but the only time I hear my guitar is when I push the front panel Bypass button. :?

Incidentally, I am getting a normal signal from Output 1.

You need to do one of 2 things.

Add an fx loop block in the signal chain of a preset so it know where to send and return the signal in the effects chain

or

Select copy output 1 to 2 in the IO menu

Just quickly, and this might help this thread - I have a question (not sure if it was in the manual or not).

If I have Copy Out1 to Out2 set to on, and then I put an FX loop block in my signal chain in the Axe, does the FX loop override the Copy Out1 to Out2 function? Or do I need to change it when using an FX loop in my patch?

Cheers,

TimmyM
