New to scenes and have a question regards to state of on/off of effect.

Using scenes it seems if I manually turn on an IA switch in a preset.....it stays on to next scene. I don't want this. How to change?

Pretty sure you want "scene revert" set to on. From the front panel: Setup:Midi/Remote

What controller are you using? That sounds like you have a Control switch assigned to Bypass.

On/Off and channel states of a block on one scene should not affect other scenes.

Scene revert means the scene returns to it's saved state when you return to the scene. Nothing to do with other scenes...

Hoping that when I select a reverb assigned to a switch in a particular scene......when I switch scenes and then come back to the original scene ..... the reverb will be off as it was originally. Currently it stays on until I deselect it.

That's what the Scene Revert setting is for, it controls exactly that.
