I have had the AX8 for about a year and a half. Absolutely love it. I have several decent guitars. But I just bought a Custom Shop Gibson ES-335 for my birthday. My oh my.... I am really enjoying running her through patches and trying new amp models. Impressed with the tonal qualities I can get with the volume knob on the guitar, and trying adjustments to the input and master volume trim on the AX8. Feeling very blessed. That's all.
 
Enjoy your new guitar. I have a Heritage H-555 and it just sounds amazing paired with the AX8. I really like the hollow body mojo.
 
Yes a 335 is indeed a special guitar. Next month I'll be celebrating 50 years with my ES335. Still sounds great and plays great!
