New Pink Floyd song

Is the family you speak of family of a former president? You know, his son in law was given billions from some guy that has a connection with certain medical instruments like bone saws?

No, I was referring to another family.

People that keeps criticizing the song for not being enough "Pink Floyd" probably stopped playing the song before the Gilmour solo and they missed it, or prefer the Piper at the Gates of Dawn pre-Gilmour era :D, or maybe they are still not getting that this is not a Pink Floyd song, it is a Ukrainian song. They didn't even recorded the song together. Andriy Khlyvnyuk posted it on Instagram singing acapella from the streets of Ukraine, and Gilmour requested his permission to arrange the song around his samples. Who cares if you don't like Ukrainian folk songs?

David Gilmour: ”I realize this isn’t a traditional Pink Floyd song and we’re very much using the band name to gain awareness and bring as much support to the cause as we can.”

People: ”This doesn’t sound like Pink Floyd!”

:D

What’s going to bring more support, relying on donations from random people who care, or putting a song out by a band that has sold over 250,000,000 albums worldwide and can get the attention of their fans immediately with one press release? Hmmm….

Now there are close to 7.5 million views and more than 25,500 comments. There are many comments from people in tears when they listen the song. Just imagine the emotion when your small and not well known country is devastated by a powerful neighboring nation, and a mythical band releases a folk song of your country that you have rooted in your heart, with an intense guitar solo, in your language, and sung by a compatriot from the streets of a city under fire.
