New Fx8 owner. Rig pics and a couple of questions.

I've settled on this simple rig. Victory Kraken v4 pedal into Fx8 into the front of an Alessandro Redbone special.

I also have a game changer audio plus pedal which is a sound freeze type.

I want to use that pedal in the loop of the fx8, or rather the fx8 in the loop of the plus pedal.

You see I would like to lower the frozen sound an octave and add a bit of modulation creating sort of an organ tone to play over. The plus pedal has it's own send and receive plugs for only affecting the frozen sound. It has a separate in and out as well as a clean out only.

This should be possible with the fx8? I still want to run other effects in my chain but I want specific ones running only in the loop of the plus pedal.

My second question is, would humbuster cables be of any benefit anywhere in this rig?

I bought a daddario pedal cable kit but if humbuster is the way to go I don't want to start hacking cables I would just return it.

I wasn't sure because the rig isn't really a 4cm with an amp effects loop but it would be running 4cm to put the pedal in it's loop? I'm a bit confused hopefully this is all possible I just want to get it done right

Thank you for any input on routing and if humbusters would make a difference.

I think you should be able to run the FX8 in the loop of the pedal. I'd use the out post / in post seciton of the FX8 for the effects that you want on the frozen sound. That will leave the pre in / pre out effects fully available for use with the front end of your amp simultaneously. I don't know if hum buster cables will make any difference with that type of setup. I'd say try it with normal cables and only bother with hum buster cables if you are having hum issues.
