Hi there Cliff.
As you know, there some great new models out there to Friedman. Some of them are simply a re-issued versions of the previous channels.
1. The deluxe versions are pretty much the same. BUT There are some major voicings switches - Gain structure, 3 position voice, 3 position bright switch.
2. The Butterslax - Mastodon signature. It is way different then a BE 100.
3. JJ-100. The clean channel is Dave's version of VOX cleans but less painful and more headroom. BE is the same, BUT. The JBE is a much more dirtier than a BE100, And more tighter.
4. a Modded 5150. All of the greatests bands out there don't use it stock. It ALWAYS have a sort of a mod. If it a Bass Boost to make them more noticable and chunkier. Gain boosted, better attack.... you name it.
5. Peavey Invective - Lame clean, badass distortion.
6. The METALHEAD Mod Marshall JCM800. It's a mod that was made to Dino Cazares in the 90s for his Marshall JCM800. It's a much more violent gain structure and heavily Saturated!
