Yep, suffers from the same problem as the ASM. I honestly think it's a mistake to market 50-60lb FRFRs.

Why can't Friedman reduce the weight. We ain't gettin' any younger and it's a pain (literally) to schlep heavy gear around. Reduce it to under 30 lbs, and I will consider it.

Bit odd I agree..... everyone else is coming out with smaller/lighter 10" versions, or using much lighter neo magnets, and Dave just repacks the same thing into a squarer shape.....

Shape is fine, and the ASM12 I had did sound good, but yes, it is very heavy and almost could stand to have a set of casters

I love my ASM-12 so much that I'd love to have another one to run in stereo and really fill the room. With that said, I'm a bedroom player who does recordings and no longer gigs so the chances of me having to move it around the house is rare. However, when I am moving it not fun.

I just picked one of these up for my Metro 2x12 cab… looks like it would work pretty well for the Friedman as well. Lightweight, cheap, and useful for moving around other things. This was more desirable than permanently modding an expensive cab without built-in casters.

The weight seems to be a big recurring complaint on these. Too bad, since they sound so great.
