New Firmware: Sending Midi Signals independently of the Axe

Hi Folks,

I read in the manual you could send midi signals independent of the Axe 2. The idea I have is will this allow me to configure my DAW (Cubase 5) to accept midi signals fromt he axe foot controller. Do you guys know if this works? Does anyone have experience in this arena?

You would configure it the same way you would for any other MIDI device. Find out what messages Cubase accepts, and set them up on footswitches in the MFC. The manual covers SYSEX and CC setups pretty well.

Awesome. So as I understand it then... I could have the MFC plugged into the axe and then into my apple laptop running cubase simultaenously, yet sending midi commands to the axe 2 and cubase independently?
