I've been watching Twitch's beta Music channel. One of my favorites right now is SuperGuitarBros

Their schtick is they play video game songs on acoustic guitar.

I'm waiting for some fractalite to setup shop on twitch. I'd donate.
 
I'm considering using Twitch but I need to talk to them about what I could actually do there. All their policy and FAQ says no covers or playing music, only original, yet all I see is Spotify and YouTube streaming and playing along.

Some guy just tried to play This Dying Soul by Dream Theater and it was way, way, WAY over his head but he turned his guitar down and moved his fingers all over the place quickly and his viewers were amazed and all donated to him for his skill.... Wtf.
 
I think you can basically stream whatever you want. If you archive your streams into video, eventually their engines will recognize copyrighted material and either mute your vid or remove it.
