Hey Don..the "basing" on the trannies looks like you had to criss cross EBC....photo makes it look like they might be shortin' out.
Hope it works well.
Could I recommend a 10mf tantalum cap for "decoupling" on your B+(Vcc) rail. It will save your circuit and minimize pop.

Build enough of them and you start to notice similarities pretty quickly. AC176's are good Ge transistors for fuzz pedals.
