I received my new AxeFX III today and had just an hour to play before leaving for another Thanksgiving dinner (non-traditional, with Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo as the main course, and a flour-less chocolate cake with a raspberry dipping sauce - gourmet goodness, 6 hours ago, and I'm still stuffed). I cannot get over how much better the AxeFX III (Ares v11.01) sounds compared to Ares 2.0 on my AxeFX II, and this is by surfing through the first bank of the v11.00 factory presets.
I'm glad I decided to upgrade. This thing sounds and feels fantastic!
