Possibly not. Some sites don’t allow it because people who start a thread could delete a long, very useful thread and the community would lose out.

If you want to delete it, flag it and ask a moderator to remove it.

I could have sworn we "used" to be able to delete a post of our own? Maybe I am thinking of a post in someone elses thread? Oh well. No biggie.
EDIT: Yup I can delete this reply, so that's it I guess. I love when I confuse myself. Happens too often.

That would be in the past. This is the present. Or it was until then, or now, or, just before now.

it would be cool to delete your own thread then have it in a recycle bin and save for later, then later when convenient and relevant undelete it for a while then delete it again... Ha Ha Ha...

That's what I thought also. There were ZERO replies. But I couldn't delete it. . No biggie.
