Yes, the guitar sounded really bad to be honest. Could very well be due to clipping somewhere.

That really doesn't sound good. Premier Guitar usually puts their own mic in front of cabs on other rundowns I've seen, and then mixes amp sound back in when they edit the whole vid for people to hear. They couldn't do that here...

Because Neils running IEMs (so silent stage), and only other sound they could pick up would have been FOH. I'm betting they were plugged directly into an output on the AxeFx, and Premier Guitar left their gear at mic level while recording it. You can see on the AxeFx both levels 1 and 2 at noon or above. Thats way too hot for a board set at mic if coming off one of those. They would have to be around 9:00 to not clip. (That's my theory anyways )
