Need Help With Synth

Hi,
I have attached a preset where I'm using a synth to automatically generate a tone, and then a pitch block to make it into a chord.

I want the tone generated by the synth to sound like a string section (violins).......but I can't get it. It sounds, to be honest, like one of those old cheap Radio Shack electronic experiment kits (if you're old enough to remember those). The idea is, that I'll use the generated sounds as a background, and then play lead on top of it.

I tried:

• Chorus - to thicken up the sound
• A Cab Block - with an actual violin IR - to shape or morph the sound into strings
• A 10 band EQ - to try to help shape the tone

But no string sounds......

Might not be possible. An IR doesn’t just change any signal into some other instrument. It’s just EQ.
