Need help with a preset that clips.

I'm listening to this preset through headphones and thru studio monitors. I don't hear it clip thru the studio monitors but I sure do hear I thru the headphones. I tried lowering the levels but that affected the tone in a negative way. Any help is appreciated.

Level doesn’t affect tone fundamentally.

How high is the Out knob when listening through headphones? Are you simply overdriving the headphones?

I've got the knob at 12:00. I initially thought the same thing, so I turned it down but regardless of how low it was the clipping was still present.
