Need help with a DIY 4 external switches box

Think something like this is jet posted somewhere... but anyway...

Want to add an affordable DIY 4 external switches box to my MFC101 MkII.
Need an "OK" to this shopping chart:
a) 1 box 250mm long (will be vertical on the pedalboard side by side with the MFC101)
b) 2x stereo female jacks 1/4"
c) 4x stereo male jacks 1/4" (2 stright for the box and 2 angled for the MFC)
d) stereo jack cable (about 1mt/2 pieces)
e) 4x momentary switches normally open

Am i set with those things?

AND anyone with a schematics for soldering the whole thing?

That should do it, but you'll also need a bit of plain hookup wire to go between the switches and jacks inside the box.

Wiring should look like this:


You could also wire the sleeve side of all four switches together as well like this:

So GuttaLaser, did you build this yet? I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I haven't ordered the parts yet. I'm wondering if you have any advice.

I bought this external switch from Bright onion. Works like a charm. Not perhaps exactly to your specs but is plug and play. I am using it for scene switching

That's basically what I was going to build. I think it will be more fun to build it, and cheaper too.

Believe me, my soldering and electronics building skills aren't worth much more than zero. But I enjoy doing it.
