Need help setting up studio monitors

Ive had an axe fx for a few months now and just used the 4 cable method through my marshall amp. Just got studio monitors today. I want to run the computers audio through the axe fx into the studio monitors. Using XLR cables from axe fx output to studio monitors input. Cant get any sound. Thanks in advance.

Have you set your computer so that it's configured to use the Axe Fx as the soundcard?

Yes audio in and out are both set to Axe FX
Im thinking in the i/o settings something is wrong. OUTPUT 1 to studio monitors

have you checked the USB Return level?

Make sure you have the USB input level turn on like Chris said, also make sure you use stereo outputs not L->R.
My suggestion is also to set the USB level to -3 DB. You will have enough volume, and a bit of headroom if you ever play over a song direct, without overall digital output clipping
