For a temporary "logistic" reason in need to record the Axe-Fx II audio out (just the guitar with amp, cabs, fxs) via the USB in Cubase 10.5.
But i don't want to set the AxeFX as a "ASIO audio interface" because i wanto to use my DAW with the audio interface i have.
So i want just have a stereo track with the audio coming from the AxeFx via the USB connection.
1) can this be done?
2) how must i set the I/O page on the Axe?
3) do i need to set someting in the grid (like loopfx block or any other "strange" thing)?
Tnx

Cubase only allows a single I/O device. So, if you're on a mac, use the Audio/MIDI setup app to create an aggregate which combines the two devices into one. Nothing special needs to be done on the AxeFX. If you're on Windows, you'll have to use either the AxeFX or the interface as your I/O device, but you can't use both.
