National treasure Tim Pierce does it again

That was cool. He definitely has chops but, he also knows how to play for the song as well. I gotta admit, he does a way better job of dissecting his own licks 35 years later than I can dissect my own a week later!

He simply never leaves it. :D Tim has transcended the need for food, drink, or bodily functions. (True story: When he first arrived in LA and was living in a "band house" with several of my friends, he would take his guitar into the bathroom when he was going to spend "quality time" on the crapper. He got so good by playing all. the. time.)

I agree with Rhodes...it's fascinating to watch Tim dissect his old licks. Our band plays an arrangement of that song, and now I feel compelled to revise some of the things I'm playing on it.
