My 2x12 Custom Cab (Matrix GM50)

I took some pictures of by Cab yesterday I would like to share.
(I've tried the FRFR route (CLR) but I always go back to this cab)

The Cab is made of ash and was original build as a dumble-style which I have made some modifications.
It weights about 35kg (77 pounds) and if I compare my last rig with Mesa 4x12/Triaxis/2:90/GSystem, 35kg is nothing.
Now I just need: Guitar->AxeFX (2HE)->Cab

I have wired the speakers in 4 Ohm so the total power is 400W which is exaclty what GM50 can deliver.
The EVM12L is the original, I think they are from Thiele Cabs and are in mint conditions (and broken in)
It's a beast!

The back have 3 solutions:
- Half-open, standard 4 Ohm output
- Half-open, Matrix GM50 mounted
- Closed back, Matrix GM50 mounted (.. which I prefer)

2x EVM12L, kind of heavy, each speaker needs 8 bolts

Just an update to my old thread.

I have made some changes to the cab:
- Changed the EVM elements to <Mesa> V30 and H75 Creamback.
- Added a switch so I can change from Matrix GM50 to a passive 2x12 cab

Oh my, 77 lbs with that leather strap handle... ouch! Haha

Otherwise, cool cab build. Almost looks like it could be a nice drawer :p Has it held up nicely over the past 2 years, or gotten some nice aging going on?

Actually now it's weights 44 lbs after the speaker change (and the cab has removable wheels underneath as well)
