Mutron or something else? More Human Than Human

Hi in the first few seconds of this song you can bear a couple of notes that play thru all of the verses where there is no guitar. I was hoping to get close to it, is it an envelope filter/ mutron type sound? Any direction and advice really appreciated. Will only take 3 seconds to hear it.

Synth block could probably get you there with envelope controller.

Might be able to get a passable substitute with an envelope controlled filter but it's not going to sound like a synth.
