they're coming out with a new one for Namm ;) . waiting for it to be released and then see which of the three to get...

Ooh I didn't know THAT! :p that changes everything, I was thinking about ordering one this weekend!

@shemmi - I see some interesting uses for it, some people used it for dubstep, I say Pete thorn do a pretty awesome demo with it some time aback too. Very interesting stuff.

it's here,
it's bigger than I thought and it wants 9VDC
dammit.

good thing it comes with batteries. :)

sounds good, really good.
even in the really nasty settings the pickups/tone control comes through nicely.
being able to add compression without distortion is a nice touch.
I don't miss a tone knob at all, the algorithms are very well designed and tweaked.

It does everything I was trying to get from the Alesis Bitrman, but somehow the Alesis never 'clicked' with me.

ah well, I sold it for quite a profit.

The Multiwave will definitely stay! :)

strange design with recessed knobs so close to the footswitch

the Bitrman?
it was designed for synths/DJs not guitarists.
it's not even a footswitch, but it had a jack for one.

and these cool digital I/Os at the side that would plug right into the next unit without any cable.
you could connect three of them together and rackmount them with an adapter.

pretty cool concept - completely unsuccessful. ;)
