MTD 4th repeat doesnt respond to tempo setting

I'm trying to set up a very simple 1-2-3-4 delay (a repeat on each beat). I'm using a quad parallel structured delay, because I'm going to need the dedicated feedbacks and feedbacks to the next steplater on. When I set the first 3 repeats everything is fine, but when I set the 4th, no matter what tempo setting I try, the echo comes in about half the time as the first 3, and I cant change this. I tried 1/4, 1/2, 1/2Dot, 1, and the first 3 are perfect on the beat, but the 4th is only half a beat behind the 3rd. I tried different setting for the 4th tap like 2, 3, 4, 4/3, 5/4, but nothing changes. The timing of the 4th repeat is stuck on a half beat after the 3rd, instead of one beat.
What am I doing wrong?

You're probably hitting the max delay time. Each delay in the Multitap Delay is capped at 2000 ms. Depending on your tempo, those later taps might be trying to go beyond 2000 ms.
