Moving - sad day.

I'd love to be VACATION in Hawaii permanently. Not sure I'd love to live there. :D
We did a destination for my son almost exactly two years ago. We stayed a week. Second time I'd been there. I kept thinking thatI could imagine living there. My studio. If I could find the right musicians. That's the only thing. LOL. I think more to my exact thought was I wanted enough money where I could have a second house and stay they 1/3 of the yrear. Or half time.

There goes my rig…into crates. Cya in Hawaii!
@chris hope you are ready for us. :)
Well I can totally relate to you man. Mines been packed away since the hurricane wrecked our house. Hey buddy Hawai that sounds awesome should be great. You’ll have it back soon enough safe travels:cool:

Yea, if I had the money I'm sure it'd be great. But to just transplant my job and salary to Hawaii and expect it to be great -- I'm not going to be naive and think that would be great. I'd be struggling to live the Hawaii life I'd want to live (which is more on vacation than on the job). :D

We are going back after 12 years thanks to the US Air Force. Taking back a kid and dog we got there last time. :)
Can’t wait. And yes it is expensive but we got a nice coat of living adjustment with the military. And coming from Miami? About the same prices!

Whenever you want Joe
You aren't far from where my last living Durrua (my grandmother's maiden name) relative lives/lived. He was rather old when my cousin Tracy contacted him while doing genealogical research 15 years ago, so I am not sure if he still lives. He was in Agen. The likelihood of actually being able to move to France are pretty small at this point, but I hope to visit someday.

Agen is a one hour drive from here indeed. A friend lives nearby there. Be welcome for a visit Montauban or Janes Montcuq (that's where is the cave haha)

Seems apropos....

We Said Hello Goodbye
Phil Collins, from No Jacket Required

VERSE 1
We said goodbye to a dear old friend
And we packed our bags and left
Feeling sad: "It's the only way"

We said hello as we turned the key
A new roof over our heads
Gave a smile: "It's the only way, only way..."

CHORUS 1
Turn your head
And don't look back
Set your sails for a new horizon
Don't turn around don't look down
Oh there's life across the tracks
And you know it's really not surprising
It gets better when you get there

VERSE 2
Well it really don't matter much where you are
'Cause home is in your heart
It's a feeling that you wake with one day

Some people keep running all their life
And still find they haven't gone too far
They don't see it's the feeling inside, the feeling inside

CHORUS 2
Turn your head and don't look back
Just set your sails for a new horizon
Don't turn around don't look down
Oh there's life across the tracks
And you know it's really not surprising
It gets better when you get there

OUTRO
We said hello as we turned the key
A new roof over our heads
Gave a smile: "It's the only way"
