Getting some good initial results here. I though I would give a preview.

This is a reamp track that grape posted a while back as a challenge. It is not me. Here is the comparison. Only effect is the Axe-fx and/or the TC2290 (half is one, half the other)

love the 2290 sound. the phase reverse on one side makes it sound so spacious.

just wondering what changes you made to the 2290 "type" in the axe to make it sound more like the real thing...i think it sounds pretty amazing as is!
 
Yeah, I found the same thing.
Took lfo 1 180% out of phase. Took the high cut off - it does not hi cut (both the axe and the 2290 are flat as a board unless set to do otherwise). Also routing in parallel because that is how the mix on the 2290 works.
 
I will probably do my write up tonight and post emulations of 3 of the built in 2290 presets and this one.
 
Ha. I was all "wow that sounds so spacious!" and then I looked down the "Surround" button was pressed on my old Sony stereo amp I have here in my office. Shut that off and...it STILL sounded so spacious! Cool beans.
