Got it. Thanks my dude.Hey man... Here's what I came up with for the Nuno patch... hope ya dig. PS, you're going to need an IR Play block and load up Leon Todd's MP1 impulse response/tone match, whatever ya call it

Hope ya dig. Cheers!!!
Thank you so much! I can’t wait to give it a try.Give this a go... Hopefully ya dig... I watched Zakk's rig rundown and based my pedal/amp selections of that... of course a lot is going to be in the fingers. The phaser and flanger are there if you want em, but the chorus to my ears is essential to Zakk's live tone (in the studio he said the chorusing is often the effect of the multitracking). Cheers and thanks for your patience. I've been busy.
But I remember this one the most because of the 80's area
Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time.
Playing with your fingers?I still can’t get those Richie kotzen tones.
Seems simple but in fact that’s not.
Gainy but not that much
All frenquencies are Nearly perfect balanced. Just the right amount of bass middle and high that stands out without being piercing.
All the awesome tones he gets live are plexis and his sansamp rk and still I can’t replicate it.
I’m sure the sauce on the fractal is the ir as the amp are unbelievably accurate.
Seems like a close to the edge location of 2 mikesI still can’t get those Richie kotzen tones.

I've been able to get close to this tone (starts at 1:46 in the video) with the JTM45 model but haven't been able to really nail it. If anyone has recommended pickups for this type of tone (more specific than "50's PAF," haha), I'd be all ears.
As you can see by my icon I am Canadian. I have a love affair with Canadian guitarists and music. Some of my favorite tones are from Keith Scott ( Bryan Adams) songs like Somebody both the semi-clean rhythm and solo sound, the rhythm sound on hearts on fire, the solo sound on I'm ready and Kids wanna rock and the rhythm and solo sounds of it's only love. The list is long so ill suggest only one more, the solol guitar sound on american woman by the guess who. Thanks and happy holidays.I've been cooking up patches for some of my favorite players... While there are so many awesome tones out there, I'm curious if there were any sounds that you were really hoping to find in the Axe FX III?
Over the last month I've researched and tried to replicate with authenticity the tones of the following players... Steve Harris, Tony Iommi, Randy Rhoads, Adrian Smith, Dave Murray, Zakk Wylde, Metallica MOP era, Eric Johnson (along with the hold delay feature), Robin Trower, Michael Schenker, Eddie Van Halen (along with Cathedral dotted 1/8th note delay), Yngwie Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore, Malcom and Angus Young, Brian May (with signature 800/1600ms delay trick)
On my list of ones to work on are Tom Morello, Judas Priest SFV era, Chris DeGarmo, Kim Thayil, Wes Borland, Tom DeLonge, John Sykes, Mick Mars, Dave Mustaine, Chris Poland, Billy Gibbons (Eliminator era), Al Di Meola, Alex Lifeson (Power Windows era). There's probably some that I forgot to mention but anyways...
If there were any tones you were eager to play with then perhaps I could share my preset with you! Cheers!!!
Didn't he play his Tele on the early albums, mostly? That’s a cool tone. Supposedly a Hiwatt head to a Marshall 1982 cabinet, Echoplex with short delay time and 4-5 repeats + loads of volume and hall reverb. No idea how much the PAF pickups are part of the sound though.
I would love to have Rick Grahams chops LOL !!!I would like to have Rick Graham's tone!!!!!!!!!
Would really appreciate the Al Di Meola, Billy Gibbons, Eric Johnson and Trower patches if you are in a sharing mood.
