[Mono Power Amp] - Do I need to change settings in the Axe to operate it nicely?

So, I've just got in my Peavey 50/50 Stereo Power Amp and am using it with 1 mono cab. Do I need to adjust the settings to mono in the Axe globally to accommodate for this change? Or can I do this in the preset? I use the Axe for a lot of direct-in stuff in stereo, but am gonna use a power amp and cab live for the other band I'm in, so, I'd like to switch without constantly having to globally adjust settings.

If that's the only option, what do I need to do exactly?

You can go into the I/O section and change it there under the Audio tab > select L+R sum.

Yeah, that's what I did. Worked fine. I think I'll just have to change those settings whenever I use it one way or the other. It's not a big deal, true.

Dangerous if you are using Stereo effects (specifically Delay and Chorus) which can subsequently cause phasing issues through the sum. Although if you are tweaking in this setup consistently then you will be aware of that and compensate.

Well, yeah, I realize that. I'm not using stereo effects in the chains for that setup.
