monitored Input guitar tone radically different from tones recorded into logic pro x, any ideas internet?

set up.
guitar to axe inst in front.
axe usb to laptop.
output 1,2 to studio monitors.

whatever you got, I'm new, hit me
 
Global output EQ settings don't affect USB signal iirc, so if you have those it'll sound different. Also if logic has monitoring FX that you keep on, that'll affect the monitored sound (I have a consultation reverb plugin with a headphone correction curve always on in my monitor FX).
 
you're hearing the actual guitar strings when playing, then not hearing them on playback since you're not playing the actual guitar.
