Modeler Stress Test

2. real amp (?)
3. other thing (no doubt in my mind)

1 and 2 are close enough as to be indistinguishable, if i turn out be right there it’s the 50/50 luck of a random chance guess. 3 was completely lacking in balls and sounded thin and reedy, i’m kind of shocked the tone stack range is that limited in whatever it is.
 
first thing I noticed was 'the new ARES" subliminally it also said makes you play even better, puts theory in your brain and automatically converts to muscle memory ...
 
III , real amp , other product

I listened on my phone.
1st sounded best ( clear ), 2nd - close to 1 , 3rd - bad.

I can think of a great PRIZE for the right guess ! ;)
 
Number 3 sounded like mic'd up farts. 1 and 2 sound very similar.

Any chance there'll be an AX8 update featuring this ARES tech?
 
Yeah, too easy to hear that #3 is the competitor's amp. It doesn't sound as loud as the other two clips even if it was normalized.
 
Second clip is the less worst sounding clip so I think it's the amp. First one sounds more scooped and third one sound like the Helix.
 
My guess would be 1 is real amp, 2 is Axe 3 and 3 is competitor. This based on just how the background hiss sounds as I can't really tell much of a difference between 1 and 2.

Personally I don't really care how accurate an amp model is to the real amp if it responds how I like and sounds good to me.
