Synths sound great through the AxeFX. I created a patch to route them, do effects, sidechain compression, etc.
Here's the patch:
https://axechange.fractalaudio.com/detail.php?preset=7932
Here's what it looks like:
Definitely open to suggestions if you have a better workflow.
Input 1
Boog (behringer copy of the mighty Moog Model D). Mono
Input 2
I don't use it yet. Ideally, I would've put the Boog through this input.
Input 4 L/R
Modular synth.
Inputs are hard panned for stereo, but I often center the balance of each channel process them individually as Mono inputs.
Depends on my mood.
Input 3 Left
Arturia Microbrute 2S. Mono.
Input 3 Right
Drum Machine. Sometimes I use the eurorack, sometimes I use Pocket Operators.
Input 1, 4 and 3L can be processed individually. They are merged, cloud reverb is applied to them.
Input 3R is used as the source for the sidechain compressor. Sounds very nice and EDM-y with the cloud reverbs.
