Mixer Block Question

The manual states: "Balance Rows 1–6 – These controls set the left-right balance of signals at the six mixer inputs"

Does this mean that if I have a stereo signal going into the mixer, and then pan that row hard left in the mixer block, that it will only "hear" the left side of the stereo signal coming in? Or that it will pan the whole stereo signal left? I think it's the first one, but it's not worded too clearly (IMO).

I too would assume the first. You could test it with a dual delay. Set the delay times to something obviously different and then pan hard left. Do you still hear both delays or only one? There’s your definitive answer!
