Mission TT-2 with FX8? Other alternatives?

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if the Mission TT-2 works with the FX8? Looking to add 1 or 2 more buttons for effects.

And are there any alternatives to the TT-2?

Seeking clarification.. If I was to get a custom button made, am I to understand that the button needs to be a momentary button?
