Missing low end thump

Hi all - I've been switching between a real life tube amp (Peavey Valve King 100) and my ax8 (into a Matrix GT1000 and an Orange 2x12), and I was missing the feel of the low end - the 'thump', the air movement etc with the ax8. In a loud band situation, the real amp just 'felt' bigger and sounded crunchier. Same thing when I ran the ax8 directly into the fx return of the amp - so I figure it's mostly a power amp thing.

The default power amp settings for the 410JS in the ax8 have the dynamic depth (in 'dynamics') at 0. I increased it to 5, which made a big difference --- the thump and air movement are now there.

My question for the forum - what else are you doing to get the air movement/thump and/or crunch that is so easy with a 100 watt tube amp? I'm closer but still not getting 100% of what I hear in my head.

Uploading one of my presets for your perusal.

Definitely - I have fiddled with this and think I have the sweet spot. My feeling is the dynamic depth control is of equal-ish importance. Will play with it more.
