Minus The Bear: Lonely Gun?

Sounds like you need to use the filter block and attach the dynamics controller to both frequency and gain.

The trick will be determining the upper and lower range frequencies.

I have an old prog bass preset posted on the Axe Change that you can cannibalize for the filter block and see if that gets you in the ballpark with your amp cab choice of preset.
