Interesting that at 1" it's +10db @ around 150Hz, didn't think it would be that much.
What is that based on, any specific mic?

Dunno ^^ not sure it's related to a mic, it could be just a sort of absolute bump due to the wavelength

The distance would only affect the phase/time but not the amplitude. It is related to the mic and the way it is designed.

Yep. Proximity effect is the result of the mic's own rejection pattern. The more directional the mic, the more dramatic the proximity effect. A perfect Omni-directional mic has no proximity effect.
