[MIDI SYNCING] : G-System + Axe-FX ULTRA

I was wondering if anyone has used the tc electronic G-System to send out MIDI to match the tempo I tap in on the G-System. I would love to have those two be able to hook together and sync up. That way, I can tap a tempo on the G-System and then it'll sync the tempo on the Axe.

Anyone?

Well, not really. That thread is about engaging the tuner with a MIDI CC, but I actually want to hook up both tempo's in every preset. Is that even possible with these two?

I found out that the G's Tap button sends out CC19, so I set the Axe to 19 and it works like a charm!

Yea, I remember doing it, lemme see if I can remember how...

I used the axe as the master, and the g system button for the tapping. I had the axe send the tempo clock to the G system. I think I had read something about it in laird's white paper (the manual that the g system SHOULD have come with).

You can also let the axe act as the slave, set both to the same midi channel and set the switch on the G like above, and go to the 'tempo tap' on the same ctrl page (I/O) in the axe, it should accept it.....
