MIDI Issues

Hey guys, so I got my Axe FX Ultra today, and I'm trying to upgrade it from 10.2 to 11.0. I'm using Axe Edit as my MIDI librarian and my Axe FX is connected to my computer through the MIDI In/Out on my M-Audio Profire 2626. The Ultra is connected in Axe Edit, but it fails the loopback test though both cables are connected correctly and both cables work perfectly fine in any other setting. When I try to update to 11.0, the file is shown fully sent to the Axe FX, but the progress bar on the unit is around the halfway point before I get the 'BADCHECKSUM' message. I don't feel like spending more money on any cables or interfaces when both my cables and interface work perfectly fine. How can this problem be solved? Thanks!

When using MIDI-OX (Windows) to send firmware to the Axe-Fx, be aware that its default settings may cause a buffer overrun error. Change Low Level I/O Buffers size to 256, and number to 16, and Milliseconds between buffers to 90.
