The manual says, in 17.3, that CCs are not passed forward via midi-thru. A quick check with midiOX shows that they are passed. Does anyone know anything about this?

The chart is indicating that the Axe-Fx II doesn't generate/transmit any MIDI CC itself. Nothing on that chart refers to MIDI Thru capabilities - when using MIDI Thru, every message to the MIDI In port is routed to the MIDI Out/Thru port; it doesn't filter.
