Is there no such beast? I have a female to female, but can't find a female to male.
I have the Yamaha MD-BT01 Bluetooth Wireless MIDI Interface that I normally use with my AX8 so I can control it via my iPad and Bandhelper...works great. The problem is, it won't stay plugged into the MIDI ports on the AX8. The slightest bump or touch and it falls out. If I plug a MIDI cable into the back of the AX8 or the female to female coupler I have...just to try it, no issues. So there is something about the casing or the connector on the Yamaha MD-BT01 that prevents it from seating properly in the AX8 MIDI ports.
I figured since the female to female coupler fit snug, I would buy two female to male couplers and plug the MD-BT01 into the couplers. Didn't realize, they don't make such a thing or at least I can't find them. I could use two short MIDI cables, but then the MD-BT01 would be sitting on the floor or hanging out the back.
Any other ideas?
