Hi.
I always set my AX8's main output volume to maximum to get the best signal into my preamp, which has a pad on it to control the signal level.
When I try to use MIDI CC#11 to control the output volume, the guitar can still be heard if the value of CC#11 is ramped down to zero.
Also, if I give a sudden MIDI CC#11 message of 127, the volume jumps up like crazy. Since the output is already at maximum, sending a value of 127 should do nothing, right?
If my Out 1 knob is at 50% and I send the value 127 only then it should jump to full volume. But now I'm at the supposed maximum volume and still it shoots up on getting the 127 value.
Please correct my understanding if I'm wrong.
