MFC froze - AXE-FX NAME TIMEOUT!

Started up the MFC and I am getting this message: "AXE-FX NAME TIMEOUT!" and nothing is working. Any way to reboot the unit to get it working again?
 
Just plugged it into my other AXE FX, I have two AXE-FX II's, and it works fine. So the problem is coming from the AXE FX.

After a firmware flash, the MFC has AX8 as default if i can remember correctly.
Go trough the edit menu on the mfc and set the Axefx version you are working with as default. Reboot axefx and mfc and you are good to go.

Other option

You are using older mfc firmware, and you have a patch with a tone matchblock on the axefx.. older FW doesnt work with the tone match block.

Had the same thing happen to me - I had inadvertently changed the setting for Axe-Fx II to Axe-FX II XL. Changed it back, no problem!
 
Make sure you check the 'Use Port - EXPANSION or MIDI' is set to the right setting for whether your using a midi cable or Axe FX USB cable.
