MFC Behavior - is this right?

I use my MFC-101 with an Axe FX II that is up to date (both are). I also use it with pretty much the defaults, that is bank size = 5, etc.

What I am concerned about is this:

If I am playing a song on the basic bank (presets 0-4) - let's say preset 2 - and I want to go to preset 3 IN THE NEXT BANK, pressing the UP switch moves me into preset 2 in the next bank automatically BEFORE I have a chance to press the appropriate preset switch for that bank.

This behaves differently than other controllers I have used, in that they WAIT for the actual preset to be pressed to change the sound instead of just changing the sound when the bank is changed (to the wrong patch, in this case).

Is there a setting in the MFC-101 that can defeat/disable this behavior?

Thanks!

Bank Style = None will just move you to the next bank, without selecting a preset. You can scroll to any bank you want, and then hit 1 - 5 to go to whatever preset you want.
