hi everyone.
Why when I use the Axe Edit in my Pc and use the MFC in the some time the The Axe edit give a message without communication.
There’s any tip to not cut the message with the Pc?
Thanks

Are you referring to the fact that Axe-Edit pauses communication? There’s an option in...

Settings -> Preferences -> Options

“Automatically pause the communication when an Axe-Fx II front-panel change is detected”

If you uncheck that, Axe-Edit will no longer pause communication when changes are detected.

That being said, it’s always been the recommendation to NOT use Axe-Edit and the MFC at the same time, their states are not synced, and you can end up in a situation where you’ve made changes on one that the other is not aware of. The setting to automatically pause was added to alleviate that problem as after you unpause Axe-Edit will rescan the state of the patch and update it’s awareness of the block states properly. It’s not going to cause any damage or major issues, that’s why the option can be disabled, but it can avoid unnecessary confusion, which is why the option was added in the first place.

Ok. It’s better use the Axe edit with the MFC disconnect?

No problem having the MFC connected, just generally recommended that you don’t use the MFC (or the front panel) when you’re also using Axe-Edit, either that or pause Axe-Edit first, then make your change, then un-pause it again.

That option to automatically pause the software when a change was detected was added to reinforce that best practice, but if it’s better for your workflow to disable the option, you can disable it, just worth keeping in mind that the bypass state of a block might not match what the MFC or Axe-Edit is currently showing if you’re using both at the same time.
