MFC 101 update ?

i have 2 mfc-5 controllers but sending one in for an expression
pedal jack mod isn't possible now that axess electronics is
currently inactive.


MFC-5 ? Where is the picture of the Bull sitting on the toilet??????

I think he's talking about the small controller made by the now-defunct Axess Electronics.
 
MFC isn't reserved for Fractal.

MFC = Midi Fooot Controller
 
If i could sit with cliff, jeff and mario to pick their brains
i might get brave enough to build my own midi controller.

I emailed him about a problem with my LFJr more than 2 weeks ago and it seems I'm not the only one suspecting he may have disappeared... :(

This might be the ultimate Sin

I m so tired of waiting for the MFC 101. Im considering buying a Nova system or a G system.
After all how many different effects do i use ? How many different sounds do i need ?
The Ultra is a great peice of gear, but there is no way it sounds better than my Mesa mk4 or mk5.

Any way some where in the future you will be able to buy the Mfc 101 on ebay cheap.
So i am considerin selling my Axe fx ultra.

I just dont see much differnce between Fractal and liquid foot when it comes their foot controller.

No real info , No release date , cant get a straight answer . I mean how hard would it be for the guys a Fractal to post a release date.

Remids me of the Bull sitting on the toilet
 
There is no release date (ie, can't issue something that doesn't exist). It'll ship when it's/they're ready. Can't push the river. How much for your Ultra??

dude,seriously? nobody owes u anything. it will ship when it's ready. u're not the only one who's waiting or can't wait for this. but c'mon,do yourself a favor and buy whatever u like and what's available now that might please you.

then leave it be. we are all grown ups here and we get what the thread is about. i'm sure Fractal saw this thread already but if they chooses not to give an update coz of it's uncertainty, that's reasonable. just stop whining and attacking people with "Please have enough balls to back it up by providing a URL to the source" or "Why do people even bother posting such" when u don't even know what MFC stands for. like i said,you're not the only one waiting or can't wait for this,but YOU are the only one acting like a child.

Dont pick on me , there is a whole list of people unhappy about the way Fractal has handeled the MFC-101.
But you would know that if you read this entire thread.

Instead you saw my last post and decided to flame me.
Did you bother to see when this thread started ? How many hits an post it has had ? And never 1 update from Fractal.
Did you look to see how many people posted things that were untrue about MFC-101 ?

You just decided you would flame me, tell me i am acting like a child then sign off "Im done Peace "

Seriously though, it's abundantly clear that there are two groups in this... those who think that nobody owes them anything because it's an unreleased product, and those who think that it is an announced product so an update would be nice.

After forty-four pages, I pretty sure that nobody's gonna get anybody to join the other camp.
 
If the delays are because of lack of parts, or not enough capital to get parts, or whatever, then these threads really, really help :evil: . Fact is you can sell all your equipment and become a monk, it doesn't change a thing.
 
Hey guys, Does anyone know what the price will be when it is released?? Iam saving already,but have no idea how much I need as I also will be selling my Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro and might have enough to get one (after the waitting list that is) :lol: !! Thanks

Is that entirely true? I am not going to go back through the 40+ pages of this thread but I could have sworn people posted links to comments made by Fractal on other forums (The Gear Page, Gearslutz, RigTalk, etc.) and/or video clips of the demo model that could qualify as updates. So while not an "official" Fractal update in this specific thread there have been "nuggets" of information that have come out.

I can't imagine what the foot controller situation has to do with a decision to sell your Ultra. The Ultra is killer, even with a half decent controller.

Do what I did. Buy a Liquid Foot Jr and be done with it. Mine is great, it's wonderful, and best of all I am completely free from hand-wringing about the MFC-101. When it is finally released, and the bugs are shaken out and the wait list backlog is cleared, I'll buy one. At that time I'll probably sell my LF Jr and take a loss on it. Oh well. Sure beats the hell out of losing sleep over Fractal's product release strategy.
