Mesa IIC+ G3 Vintage Petrucci Sound

Trying to nail vintage Petrucci tone, sorry about mistakes, any advice is welcome.

I think that sounds not bad actually. The double tracking makes it really hard to tell what's going on though. Not enough preamp gain. Also you may have cut too much low end.

Low end is good actually, this is how it sounds on the original track..
But it lacks preamp gain indeed =)

Just a touch more gain and you're there! I do feel like you need to dig into those palm mutes a bit more too!

I think this is an even better reference, as he's playing the actual "Pull Me Under" main riff, and with a better tone (imho of course ). This is also the Mark IIc+:
