Mesa CabClone

Hi there!

Just recently I borrowed a Mesa-Boogie CabClone and shot some IRs of it with all settings.

Here they are, have fun with it!!!

IRs from real cabs are a lot better!!! But I still wanted to share them here.

Btw, here's a graph, which shows the frequency spectrum of those 3 IRs. This shows, that the CabClone is basically just a hardware PEQ, problably 4-5 bands should be enough to replicate the curve of the CabClone.

So why did I post it?
1. I wanted to share it, since I already created it and probably nobody else
2. I think it's interesting to hear, what a speaker simulator sounds like
3. I think it's good to know what it actually does. If now somebody tells you, that the CabClone sounds just like a real cab, you can show him the data.

The only way to come close to the sound of a real cab is afaik with IRs.
